We are not just staging the award for awarding sake, but we are producing an award that will add values to the comedy business and this can be attest to by award slogan: "Earn this, Earn Respect!”, he explained.

Though response from corporate bodies had been slow but we are getting some responses from some companies that have showed interest in the award and are willing to partner us on this project. However, because of the change in date, the registration for the award had been extended to Friday 29th October, 2010. registration form can be downloaded at the award’s official website, www.nigeriancomedyawards.com.
Prior to the main event, there are plans in the pipeline to stage an interactive comedy seminar themed “COMEDY – NOT A LAFFN MATTAS” where the young comedians will have the opportunity to mingle and interact with establish comedians and various topics will be discuss on how to take the comedy business to the next level.
The Nigerian Comedy Awards is positioned to uplift the Nigerian comedian and locate him favorably amongst his peers.
