The Black Eyed Peas have beaten Willow Smith to the top of the chart, scoring their fifth UK number one single. The band's song The Time (Dirty Bit) climbed from sixth place, pipping the 10-year-old daughter of film star Will Smith to pole position. But Smith's song Whip My Hair entered at number two, making her one of the youngest artists to score a UK top 10 hit, the Official Charts Company said. Take That remained at number one in the album chart for a fourth week.
