On Monday Janet Jackson announced that she will be going on a North American tour that will begin in Houston on March 4th and will end on April 23rd in Las Vegas.
The pop icon plans to make stops is Toronto, Phoenix and Washington during what is being dubbed that “Janet Jackson Number Ones, Up Close and Personal Tour”.
“This tour is Janet more revealed, more intimate, and more personal than ever before.Don’t look for special effects. Just listen to and look at Janet, as you have never seen her before.”Miss Jackson is expected to perform only old materials that were featured on her successful best of “Number Ones” that was unveiled back in 2009.
On her website, the singer stated that she wants to offer a more intimate and personal show to her audience. None of the performances on the tour will be the same.
