Gbenga Daniel and former President Olusegun Obasanjo have been engaged in a battle for the control of the Ogun State PDP executive. The battle saw both factions conduct parallel congresses in the state.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has however recognized the Obasanjo faction as the authentic executive and has cleared the candidates that emerged from the congress for the April election.
Otunba Gbenga Daniel finally dumped PDP (PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY) for PPN ( PEOPLES PARTY OF NIGERIA)
