Seriously I don't know where to start my introduction for this interview .. Anyways I got to meet DJ SPINALL who is one of the hottest DJ's in town  now. Here is the interview :


TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF?

TELL US ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND?

I'm the second child from a family of 4 Three boys last born being a very cute girl ...lol. I attended attended Lagos State Model College Meiran between 1996 and 2002 then I went to College of Engineering and Technology Olabisi Onabanjo University. I'm 5ft 11inches tall, I'm dark in complexion, I'm half orobo,half lepa, I'm a fine boy as you already know.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORY?
Childhood memory ? Hmmm thinking ... I remember my mum used to say I would not go to school until she shows me the pot and says "U see the food has finished" not until then no school for that day o (laughs)

WHEN DID YOU START THE JOB AS A DEEJAY ?
Early 2003 Basically

COULD YOU EVER IMAGINE IT WOULD BE THIS GOOD FOR YOU AS A CAREER DEEJAY?
I never expected less and am not contended yet but in all I am grateful for everything so far

CAN YOU COMPARE DEEJAY FROM WHEN YOU STARTED AND NOW?
Of course not, I have changed,things have changed,I have developed my talent and am presently establishing my brand things have changed a lot.



WHEN DID YOU START WORKING AS A DEEJAY?
The moment I made up my mind,my dad always says what ever u want to achieve starts in your head. I started seeking information about DJ'ing,I listened to the radio and basically anything I can learn from then I told my friends too to tell their friends. (laughs)


WHO INFLUENCED YOUR CAREER AS A DEEJAY?
Am influenced by music its self to be honest with you DJ Jimmy Jatt has always been everything u can ask for in a mentor,apart from him been a front liner in the DJ industry,he is very cool headed,he listens,all the cool attitudes of a leader is embedded in him. He is my Brother, my friend, my lawyer, my adviser
DJ Snoop and DJ Xcris have also been true to the game.


HAVE YOU SURPASSED THE ACHIEVEMENTS  OF YOUR TEACHERS IN THE BUSINESS?

 HOW DID YOU COME BY THE NAME SPINALL?
Simple as it goes ,you will find me mixing all kinda songs. For me good music knows no genre colour or gender. I am DJ Spin'all and I can spin anything.

HOW HAS YOUR GROWING UP INFLUENCED YOUR LIFE AS A DEEJAY?
My sanity is intact,I respect people who respect me, my respect for people ain't cheap,if you don't earn I won't respect u,growing up is still in the process,am a kid ! Lol

DO YOU HAVE OTHER LINE OF BUSINESS ASIDE FROM DISC JOCKEY?
Am into artist hype and talent development and am working on achieving more educational stuffs too .



WHO ARE YOUR BIGGEST INFLUENCE?
Everybody can answer that ... Tu face  and Sound Sultan guy, these are men not boys,they have been able to represent an average man whose voice is not heard ! No wack juice in my cup !



WHOSE JOB WOULD YOU LIKE TO STEAL?
No one ,thieves always get caught. Recently some dude stealing my moves but its okay . I can understand they want to man up !

WHAT IS YOUR MOST MARKED CHARACTERISTICS?
Sharp edge scratching I can go mad. You saw me on 'Str8tupHiphop' in it ? That's just a bit of what's in me*lol No bragging !

DJ SPINALL DOING HIS THING..

TELL US SEVEN THINGS WE DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU.

1.I don't live in Festac

2.My First DJ Service ever was in a church in 2002 and I was paid  N500.

3.I don't smoke

4.I drink Garri at least once in a week

5.I was the Senior Prefect boy in Primary school

6.Social Prefect boy in secondary school it isn't easy o (laughs)

7.Am left handed

My fuel don finish ....lol

WHO IS ON YOUR PLAY LIST NOW?
Right now am listening to "JIMMY" a new R'n'b artist from Hypertek records he is dope very dope, I also have Shaydee's new song "I Want" another great multi talented young man n this guy called St. Seba men a lot of guys up in here new stuffs!

YOUR ADVICE TO YOUNG TALENTS OUT ?
Be Sure Be Confident Be Hardworking Be Prayerful Be Patient Be Consistent,  Be Yourself , Be all 'The Be' You Can !
