Team Masters presents her first Trans-National Spelling Bee Comeptition


TEAMMASTERS SPELLING BEE presents her first Trans – National Spelling Bee Competition
tagged “SHARE THE LIGHT”.

The competition is designed for students between the age of 7 and 17 (primary pupils, junior
and senior secondary students) from Nigeria, Benin Republic and Ghana, dedicated to support
the education of blind children in Nigeria.

The entire competition has been designed to accommodate over 25 states across Nigeria. There would be seven (7) sub zones across Nigeria. These zones would consist of different states. A sub zonal final would take place in each seven (7) sub zonal for winners to emerge. These winners would come to Lagos for the National Finals.

We hope to create awareness as well as raise funds towards the education of the blind
children, a total amount of Five Million Naira (N5,000,000) for members of the Anglo – Nigerian
Welfare Association for the Blind.

1. PARENTS can register for their children to participate in the competition and win a
prize.

2. SCHOOLS also have the opportunity to register their students for the competition to
demonstrate their support for child education and also to win a fantastic prize.

3. SPONSORS have the opportunity to sponsor a child/children (or blind child) to be part of
the competition.

For primary category, we have; 1st Prize – Play station, Medal, 2nd Prize –Mountain Bike, 3rd
Prize – Cinema Tickets (4Children + 2 Adults).

For junior secondary category, we have; 1st Prize – Laptop, 2nd Prize – I Pod, 3rd Prize –Portable
Stereo.

For senior secondary category, we have; 1st Prize – I Pad, 2nd Prize – Portable DVD, 3rd Prize –
Digital Camera.

Winners of the National Finals get an opportunity to win the Grand prize of a KIA PICANTO CAR
for their school by engaging in a raffle draw.

The state competition where all representatives in Lagos State participate to emerge at the Nationals

Other States outside Lagos are grouped into zones and specific states are picked to host the Super
Zonal Finals of each zone. Emerging winners will represent their zones at the Nationals.

The competition will bring all participating states together for 3 winners to emerge

This is a fund raising concert and a closing celebration of the competition, Presentation of
prizes inclusive Top Nigerian Finalists would travel to Ghana to compete with their top finalists
