Acording to Forbes.com, the controversial singer Lady Gaga earns more than doubled those of runner-up US pop princess Taylor Swift, who raked in about £29million according to the survey.
Gaga - who has previously said she gives 50 per cent of her earnings to her father - earned a massive £830,000-a-night from concert ticket sales and has signed numerous endorsement deals of late.
Last Friday Night Singer Katy Perry came in third with earnings of £28million while Beyoncé's income dipped to an estimated £22million this year. The mother-to-be has done little touring this year, although her new album 4, fashion line, and two fragrances helped to secure her place in the top five.
Rihanna came in fifth with an estimated £18million from sales of her album Loud, and endorsements from prestigious American cosmetics company CoverGirl.
Meanwhile, British climber Adele was a newcomer to the Top-Earning Women In Music List after pocketing £11million in 2011. Celine Dion - who made £1.4million-a-night during a run of Las Vegas concerts - banked a cool £12million.
