#OccupyNigeria 'Protest Day 13, Strike day 6' - Soldiers Occupy the Streets of Lagos

Lagos is under heavy security siege manned by military personnels. Gani Fawehinmi Park in Lagos has been cordoned off and entrance barricaded as early as 12 midnight, Entrance to Third Mainland Bridge is manned by gun carrying military officers, all major junctions and flash points are heavily manned by red-eyed heavily armed military officials. This is at as at 5am, this morning (January 16th, 2012).

From the Timeline, According to reports via Twitter, former CNN Correspondent Christian Purefoy is reported to be in custody.

Stadium Surulere, has been condoned off too.

Kaduna, Kano and Oshogbo are defying the No Street Protest order as protesters are already gathered at the various venues.

Obanikoro right now (9:45am), 4 soldiers were spotted at each BRT park.
