Mc Icewater moves on...

What has brought lots of smile to Lagos Radio listeners every Sunday afternoon from 1pm-3pm is the GPG show (Gospel Pidgin Groove) from the stables of MCICEMEDIA which airs on ‘South West newest bride’ – Rainbow 94.1fm and also streaming online on www.rainbow-fm.com, mostly because of the presenter’s seamless flow as he converses, attitude and display of professionalism on air.

The GPG show features weekly ‘Anointed Guests’ ranging from Comedians, Artistes, Inspiring writers et al with its in-depth style in choice of music with a blend of old school gospel songs plus every other segments in between to help listeners ‘groove holy groove’ every Sunday afternoon.

MC Ice is arguably one of the best on-air presenters with his standout delivery in pidgin English. MC Ice (whose real names is Micah Aruocha) started broadcasting 5yrs ago on the EKO 89.7fm dial where he still
presents though (every Monday – Una dey so? 5:20pm, Wednesdays – Joli-Joli Avenue 02:10pm and Thursday mid-morning on the Ice NA Wah show which airs 1am-3am) and also streams online via www.radiolagosekofm.net.

The Olabisi Onabanjo University's Mass Communication graduate and a proud father of one,who got married last year and doubles as a versatile compere who has anchored several A-list events within and outside the country (which he does anyways in plain queen English). In recent times, he also takes up job as an entertainment consultant and one of the most sought-after pidgin Voiceover acts.
