Meet MYA K, The Talented Ten Year Old Girl

Mya k,  the 10 years old girl with her incredible vocals voice has been on air since last year with three videos directed by Akin Alabi and her Promoter Olaitan  of MuchMusic LessTalk Promotion. The videos are I’ll Survive, Christmas Charity and Superstar. She is working on her album and some collaboration with some other artist like Tiwa Salvage, Vector, Wizkid and many more artist. She started

singing at the earlier stage of her life, by the age of 2 she has been singing and performing with her colleague in school. Father: Timothy Kinlock - British, Artist Painter, based in London. Mother: Victoria Kinlock - Nigeria, Akwa Ibomite, Industrialist, Based in Nigeria.

Mya K joined HJA in April 2010 initially to study singing and since then her repertoire of studies has
expanded to include Tap and Street dance, Ballet, Performance, Contemporary/Dance Alive and Drama. In her short career with HJA.


 Some of her Acheivements

 July 2010: ‘Highly commended’ in her singing performance grading.

July 2011: - Achieved ‘Distinction’ in the Royal Academy of Music singing examination. - 'Honours’ in the HJA grading award. Awarded a scholarship entry into the HJA drama school. - Winner of the showcase solo performance competition with her interpretation of Beyonce’s ‘Disappear’.

Mya K is now venturing into her solo career at a tender age of 10years. She has produced seven (7) tracks music with goal of completing a music album next year. She has recently completed 3 video (I'll survive, Christmas Charity and Superstar) which they are currently being promoted through radio, TV in Nigeria by MuchMusic LessTalk. She performs at the Lagos Television Children Christmas Party. 2011, She also performed at the Calabar Carnival in the stadium with the children last year. Her interview on BEN TV, in UK was awesome and the freestyle interview on Factory78 has received many comments on the Internet.
