CocoIce who is currently under the management of ‘Biodun Caston-Dada owned MAGiK Entertainment is been uncovered in this chit-chat. Enjoy.

1. How did you decide on the name "CocoIce"?
Well, many people have asked me this, and let me use this medium to clarify that it has nothing to do with the American couple Ice and Coco (she smiles). Though the name
seems “controversial” as in people linking it to the couple, and this is surely getting me attention which I truly like. To answer your question, I pick up the name from the two words Coco and Ice. Coco is gotten from Coconut which we all know is hard and rough on the outside but clean and pure ‘original’ on the outside which is quite similar to who I am today. I’ve gone through hard and rough times and still able to deliver good music! ICE, as in breaking the Ice, you hitting the right spot and breaking new grounds in your endeavour and that’s me in total. The name also sounds chic or is it not?

2. How did you develop your music?
It takes a whole lot of hard work, perseverance, research and patience. You must know what you want and take the time out to study people that have been there and that are doing it right.

3. You just released a new video for your single "If you don't know", did you encounter any challenges during the making?
Sure, it is very tasking being my first video though I’ve made appearances in some videos before, but you know this is all about me and my own personal project, but kudos to the director Mattmax, because he’s quite easy to work with. He makes the job easier because we’ve sat down together with my producer to discuss the direction of the video and I already have a picture of what is expected of me. I will like to use this opportunity to thank everyone who made contributed to the success of the video.

4.  Where can fans catch you guys live? Any tours/shows coming up?
Sure we are presently working on publicity and hype for the video and myself, and we’ve been talking to people on shows. I’m also having a party coming up in July, like an unveiling party sort of and it’s a Double-dose party. We are having a Club Party on the Mainland on a Friday and another one, a Beach Party on a Sunday at Oniru Beach, Lekki.

5. What is the inspiration for your music?
Life itself inspires me. I pick inspiration from things that happen around me and God Himself is my greatest source of inspiration.
