Okonjo-Iweala is the 81st ‘Most Powerful Woman’ in the world


American business magazine Forbes has listed Nigeria’s Minister of Finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala in their recent ‘Most Powerful Women in 2012‘ list.

Only three Africans make the list: Malawian President Joyce Banda who comes in at 61st place, Okonjo-Iweala at 81, and Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf who follows closely at

82.

Iweala, 58, is serving a second time in the ministry of finance. From 2003 to 2006 she served Nigeria under the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Other popular celebrities-figures that made the list include – US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, US First Lady Michelle Obama, Pop star Lady Gaga, R&B diva Beyonce, Shakira to mention a few.
