Sprite Triple Slam is a yearly Coca-Cola activation that involves basketball, music and dance The event kicked off this year on July 1st, 2011 and the grand finale took place at the Prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos on August 8, 2011. The Judges for this year's event were Lanre Dabiri aka eLDee, Michael Egbebor of the DNMT dance group fame, and Bolaji Akiode, a female basketballer who has represented Nigeria at the Olympics. The winners of the Sprite Triple Slam competition emerged after three rounds of performance with each taking home 1.5 million Naira. Justin was the winner in the basketball category while Oobi from Abuja won the music category. The dance group Furious Energy emerged victorious in the dance category.

Eclectic Sasha at Music meets Runway Event

Music Meets Runway show debuted in the Fashion industry with Music and Fashion on the Runway and it featured different Exhibitors( Vonne Couture, Viva La Resistance Toju Foyeh, Republic of Foreigner, Obsidan, Tsemaye Binite, Babuhska, Virgos Lounge, Meena) and Artistes ( DavidO, Wizkid, D'Prince, K

PHEROWSHUZ- CONFUSION FEATURING STONCE

Pherowshuz a.k.a Phero The Great needs no introduction. The northern-based rapper is one of Nigeria's most revered rappers. Apart from dropping jaw-dropping lines he is also a hell of a producer. In
2009 he produced Sample for Terry Tha Rapman. The single which featured Phero and Stereo Man went on to win the Best Rap Single at the Hip Hop World Awards.

A few months ago, Phero released the Korrect Remix video which featured Ice Prince, M.I and Terry Tha Rapman. His next video (Gbele featuring 9ice) drops in a matter of weeks. Before the release of this
video, Pherowshuz drops this hot new track titled Confusion Stonce to whet the appetite of his fans.

To enable more participants from across the country, the Central Working Committee has announced a seven-day extension to the deadline for registration for the Nigeria Symposium on Governance for Young & Emerging Leaders, which is courtesy of The Future Awards. Successful nominees will be contacted no later than 48 hours after the deadline.

The event holds on 11 and 12 January 2012 at the Muson Centre in Lagos. The Headline Speaker is Obiageli Ezekwesili, the World Bank Vice-President for Africa. Celebrities Party with MONICA, Winner of MTN Project Fame West Africa 4!

There was a lot of excitement during the past weekend at Club Jonzing in Victoria Island, Lagos as top celebrities, family, friends and fans came to celebrate with Monica Ogah who emerged winner in the just concluded MTN Project Fame West Africa season 4 competition.

The after party held right after the grand finale which held at Ultima Studios, Lekki and had amazing performances by international R&B group, Dru Hill, along with top Nigerian pop star, Wizkid and winner of last year's edition of MTN Project Fame, Chidinma.

The grand finale also boasted of distinguished faces like: Member of the Federal House of Representatives, Honorable Abike Dabiri who presented Monica with her prize, Mr Bola Akingbade (C.M.O, MTN Nigeria), Veteran Actor, Olu Jacobs, international artiste, Leanne Lyons from R&B group, SWV(Sisters with Voices), Ayo Animashaun, Saint Obi, Omobaba among other guests.

E-X-C-L-U-S-I-V-E: Club owner battles with D'Prince over Club Jonzing

D'Prince the younger brother to the Mo’Hits C.E.O and hit producer Don Jazzy, launched Club Jonzing on Wednesday, September 29, 2011. The latest news we got from a source is that D'Prince is owing the Owner of Club SQ and that she chased them away.
To confirm the story, We called Suzy the owner of Club SQ and she said in her words through a Phone conversation she said that

" She does not want to disclose the amount of the money D'Prince is owing her and that she was not impressed with the progress of the club. She also confirmed to us that she had several meetings with him and he promised to change things but she didn't see any improvement. So she changed the name from Club Jonzing to Club SQ. She also said she sent him a quick notice in October. 

To confirm the story from D'Prince we called a representative of D'Prince and she authoritatively confirmed to us that -

Victims of the Society Movie Premieres in Grand Style

Lindsay Lohan's Playboy cover breaks sales record

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner has claimed that Lindsay Lohan's nude photo spread is helping the men's magazine break sales records. "The Lindsay Lohan January-February Double Issue is breaking sales records," Hefner posted on Twitter.

Lindsay Lohan, 25, was reportedly paid close to USD 1 million to pose for the photos taken in a style reminiscent of the nude photograph of Marilyn Monroe that graced the debut issue of Playboy in 1953.Lohan, whose acting career has been hampered in the past two years by frequent trips to court, probation restrictions, extended drug rehab stints and several visits to jail.
