KATE MIDDLETON's HAIR AND MAKEUP

Kate Middleton had to look absolutely perfect at her wedding today to Prince William. According to a report, the newly ennobled Duchess of Cambridge sticked with her longtime hairstylist James Pryce of the Richard Ward Salon for her coif.

An insider told press, “Kate wanted to look like herself on her wedding day. She told salon owner Richard Ward, ‘William must recognize me by the time I get to the altar.’”

“Kate had around four or five tryouts. She brought along photos of the styles she liked and showed them to James. Hairstyle tests were then done in a top-secret location. Kate was very pleased with the result.”
As for her make-up, Kate did it herself using Bobbi Brown products.

Beauty specialist Sarah Chapman explained, “Her complexion was perfect and her makeup completed the fluidly femininity of her soft look. She carried off the English rose look well with fresh rosy cheeks and nude lips that were balanced by her strong eyes and glossy dark hair. You can tell she looks after her skin very well, which allows her to pull off a natural look.”

There's been so much speculation about the Royal Wedding. Who's invited? Who's not invited? Who's to perform at the reception? And who is designing Kate Middleton's dress? The list of questions could go on forever, but the official guest list has been released and you may be surprised about who made the list and who didn't.
The Beckham family are like a British royal family and they have absolutely no ties to the King and Queen, but they've been officially invited and are attending the Royal Wedding with their adorable three sons.

All Black Richie McCaw created a right royal stir when he turned down a wedding invitation to Prince William and Kate's wedding this Friday, but more than 1900 guests will attend.
These include New Zealand Prime Minister John Key and Governor General Sir Anand Satyanand as well as NZ's High Commissioner to London Derek Leask.
Sam Stevenson, a former captain in the New Zealand Defence Force, who looked after Prince William during his 2005 visit to follow the British Lions' rugby tour will also attend.
Waikato professional polo player John-Paul Clarkin and his wife Nina are also attending  as is former Kiwi shearer Gary Lewis with his wife Lady Davina Lewis, who is the daughter of Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, a first cousin of the Queen.

INEC DECLARES BABATUNDE RAJI FASHOLA AS THE WINNER.

Fashola wins Lagos The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) as winner of April 26 governorship election in Lagos State. Fashola polled 1,509,113 votes to beat his closest rival Dr. Ade Dosunmu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who came a distance second 345,000.

The AMBO 5 winner, Ivie Okujaye, is a 24-year old graduate of Economics from the University of Abuja. She won the fifth and last edition of the Amstel Malta Box Office (AMBO) in 2009. Ivie loves singing, dancing, script writing, playing basketball and football and nurtures the ambition of becoming a successful actress in Nollywood.


The new Amstel Malta Box Office (AMBO) movie shot on location in Lagos premiered this weekend in Lagos. Ivie Okujaye, the winner of the last edition of the Amstel Malta Box Office reality TV show and music star Faze played the lead roles in the movie.

The movie titled “Alero’s Symphony” was premiered at the Genesis Deluxe Cinemas of The Palms Shopping Mall in Lagos. The movie is set in contemporary Lagos and combines a dramatic love story intertwined with the pulsating beats of the Nigerian hip-hop genre.

ADEFEMI OLUBAYO's BODY ARRIVES TODAY

The remains of Super Eagles’ defender Olubayo Adefemi would be flown into the country tonight. It would arrive aboard Alitalia Airline flight from Rome at about 8pm.

Family members of the deceased and top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation are among persons expected to receive the body, which would then be taken to a morgue in Yaba, Lagos.

It has been confirmed that the player’s corpse would lie-in-state at the Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere on Thursday morning before it is committed to mother earth at the Atan Cemetery, Yaba hours later.
Olubayo Adefemi, who won a FIFA U-20 World Cup silver in 2005 and an Olympic silver in Beijing three years later, and was also in the squad that qualified Nigeria for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, died on Monday after the car he was driving hit the dividing rail on the highway and crashed onto the other side of the road in Greece, where he was playing professional football with top League side, Skoda Xanthi.

SEYI OBAKIN MAKES PRINCE WILLIAM's ROYAL WEDDING GUEST LIST.

LAGOS, NIGERIA  — Seyi Obakin  the only Nigerian on the Prince William’s Royal Wedding official guest list released at the weekend by St James’s Palace will receive the Royal Wedding Cake on behalf of Centrepoint.

Obakin, a chartered accountant and Chief Executive, Centrepoint, a charity organisation in London was listed alongside David Bekham, Sir Elton John, among others on the merit section of the guest list. He is one of the three Africans invited for the wedding and the only non African monarch after the Crown Prince of Morocco and King of Swazi in the list.

Prince William is a patron of Obakin’s Centrepoint and has met many of the young people supported by Centrepoint over the years.

Obakin joined Centrepoint as Finance Director in 2003 and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2006. He became Acting Chief Executive in May 2008 and was appointed to that role permanently in January 2009. The royal wedding cake will be donated to Obakin’s Centrepoint.

GHETTO DREAMZ - THE DAGRIN STORY MOVIE PREMIERE 1

 The Movie was based on a true life story of a Rap Legend in Nigeria OLAITAN OLADAPO OLAONIPEKUN aka  DAGRIN , whose sudden demise happened in a ghastly motor accident at a very young age which stunned the entire nation and Nigerians at large.

The movie is a Biopic that recreates DAGRIN's personal life, school life, music struggle , the challenges, and the ultimate  tragic accident that occurred at the point of his success using a mixture of Nollywood superstars like PA KASUMU, RACHAEL ONIGA, DORIS S. ADEMINOKAN, GABRIEL AFOLAYAN and introducing the lead actor TRYBSON DUDUKOKO .

SUMMARY ABOUT THE MOVIE

The Movie starts with the tragic accident scene where the young rap artiste DAGRIN crashes headlong into a stationary trailer. As he was rushed to the hospital by the police , we saw the different reactions to the tragic news by Nigerians and also see some of the drama at the hospital where doctors battled for 7 days to save the life of the young rapper before he died.

From the hospital scene, we are taken through the different stages in the life of DAGRIN as he contended with his family, his friends, the school system and contemporaries for slef actualisation through his unique brand of music. The movie explores his truamatic school life , the decision to go into music fully and many rejections from record promoters.

*Sad* the movie also develops a parallel level with his growth as a musician , the love angle with his girlfriend DORIS S. ADEMINOKAN (Chi chi ) . The plot line which takes the viewer through the differenet stages of the realtionship all the way to his heart breaking conclusion .. *sigh* . All in all, the biopic is a very dramatic, presentation of DAGRIN as many people never even knew him *crying*
 

CEE DEE JOHN FINALLY LAID TO REST

It's been a month after the demise of Late Cee Dee John after he had an accident on his way back from an event. Finally , his body has been laid to rest on Wednesday  April 20th, 2011 at Atan Cemetery Akoka, Yaba . Celebrities that were at the funeral are Alibaba, Desmond Elliot, Tee A, Princess, Klint Da Drunk, Omobaba and  colleagues were also present too. May God continue to guide his family and comfort them this time.... May his perfect soul rest in peace!!!!!!
