We have gathered reports that this process has come from the backdrop of recent expansion plans to reach other parts of Africa collaborating with sister companies in Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and many other countries
under the new name – JUMIA.COM
Also, there is word around town that this strategic move is for Jumia.com.ng to completely solidify their market share in the minds of their customers after several competitive online retailers have started springing up to compete for the buying heart of Nigeria.

Reliable sources at Jumia.com have informed us that the new structure is optimized to deliver more efficiently and continue to grow its customer base as a result of the following:
