INTERNATIONAL STAR JANILIA TO PERFORM AT HAVANA CARNIVAL

One of the few artistes that performed at the inauguration of Obama the first black President in USA , Janilia is set to perform this year Hanava carnival come april 23rd nat Trans amusement park Agbowo, Ibadan. Janilia is based in the United States of America, has confirmed her participation and performance at the 2010 prestigious Havana Carnival.

The America born Nigerian musician thrilled the audience with one of her songs entitled ‘am an african’ at Obama’s inauguration ceremony. She is going to perform live with other celebrities like the afrobeat legebd Seun anikulapo kuti, idris abudulkareem, da grin, dj zeez, pasuma wonder, freewindz, dj vinny, femi, iyanya, jaywon, sound sultan, kayefi, ksb, and a host of others.

The Havana Carnival has the history of SIGMA FOUNDATION to gather momentum across the country amongst youth, students and fun lovers. This event will feature Miss Havana pageant which will parade twenty five young ladies from different higher institution of learning across the country.


The musical concert and havana pageant is a content of sigma foundation managed and marketed by ZMC (zmirage marketing communications) and Gennie leisure, havana carnival will parade the highest number of first class artistes.

The carnival will be rallying both students and working class in the society.

LAGOS CARNIVAL APRIL 3RD - 5TH, 2010

The Lagos State Government is hosting the premier edition of the Lagos Carnival. This is envisaged as an enjoyable family outing for the residents of the State as well as a tourist event. During the Lagos Carnival 2010 the parades and floats will traverse major streets on Lagos Island and for the first time will also include Ikoyi and Victoria Islands. These will all culminate at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in a grand display.

The participants in this year’s Lagos Carnival  have been drawn from selected secondary schools all over Lagos State.
The parade by the participants in the Junior Carnival will commence from 10.00 a.m.
