"The Nigeria I Dreamt Of Is Here" Writing Competition was created out of
the need to continually inspire young men and women towards the
inevitable glorious future of our nation. There are obvious challenges
in our nation today, but we believe that all these too shall pass. Also,
I believe strongly in the power of the written word to cause positive
change in nations.
To participate in this competition, young people between the ages of 15-25 are to write an essay of not more than 1000 words with the title "The Nigeria I Dreamt of Is Here!" Entries are to be submitted in MS word format and with 1.5 line spacing.
Participants should indicate their full names, ages, schools (optional) and a short profile.
The start date is Monday 21st May, 2012 and it closes Friday 22nd June, 2012.
Winners will receive scheduled mentoring sessions, will be publicised via a viral video production, winning
articles will be publicised in a forth coming book and will have an exclusive lunch meeting with select Nigerian youth icons.
I believe strongly that by the end of this competition, we will have recreated vision for a better nation in the minds of people, re-ignited the spark for creative and visionary writing in people and also through our mentoring and coaching of the winners, we will have an opportunity to impact positively, potential leaders to ensure that we inevitably produce a great nation, one influencer at a time.
All the best!!!!
