On July 14th 2012, REEL RADIO launch held at Likwid Lounge in Victoria Island, Lagos. Hosted by MamaUch and MisiMolu. It was a very well organised event, with everything going smoothly.
Red carpet kicked off promptly with Nigezie, Reel Radio’s very own Shola Ajayi and Ohaxx grilling the guests as they eagerly made their way in to witness the various acts billed for the night. There were several blogs also in attendance to cover the event and heavy weights such as Coca Cola, Blackberry and MTN were also present to witness the Launch of REEL RADIO!

The night kicked off with the dulcet tones of the gorgeous Gabriel Afolayan, followed by performances by artistes such as Yemi Alade who gave a great stage performance, capturing the audience with both her
beauty and talent as she belted out her famous track “Gehn Gehn”. Mo’blow – a fast rising artiste, gave an
energetic and riveting performance with his well-known track “Sugar Mummy”. NPZ (Davido”s brother) sang about “Aisha”, a song he collaborated with Davido on. And Emperor KB – Nigerian Reggae artiste who was a huge hit, crowned the performances off by teaching the hosts MamaUch and MisiMolu how to do the “Azonto” – the latest dance craze to hit the clubs. Throughout the night, the guests were offered delicious finger foods with free flowing Hennesy VSOP, wine and shots! There wasn’t an empty stomach or dry mouth in the house! Once the performances were over, the partying began and did not end till 6 in the
morning!
