Royal musical rumble at Kennis Music Easter fiesta

 
NIGERIANS will witness 72 hours of music and fun at the oncoming Royal Kennis Music Easter Festival scheduled to hold on Friday, April 6 through Monday 9 at the Elegushi Beach, Lagos.

 Rechristened Royal Kennis Music Easter Festival by His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa, Oba Ademola Elegushi, Kuyela III (Elegushi of Ikateland), the Good Friday Edition will be held as usual on April 6 at Get Arena, Lekki Expressway Lagos, with the Red Carpet at 8pm.
The event will be aired live on AIT and Kennis Music Channel from 9pm (Regular Primetime Africa slot on AIT). The 14th Annual Kennis Music Easter Festival was rechristened by the royal father at his beautiful palace at Ikateland, Lagos, recently when he played host to the Kennis Music entourage led by Chairman/CEO Kenny 'Keke' Ogungbe alongside rave of the moment Afro hip hop star, Jaywon, Africa's Queen of Pop Goldie, MINjin, Joe EL and Pokaface of Jukebox among others.
 
The king also blessed the festival and promised full moral and financial support among others. The meeting at the palace was also graced by the Executive Chairman of Eti Osa Local Government council, Prince Elegushi.
"Kennis Music Easter Festival which is 14 this year is now authoritatively called 14th Annual Royal Kennis Music Easter Festival which will broadcast live on AIT, Kennis Music Channel, Ray Power Network,Vibe FM, Ghana and it would also be streamed live on the Internet," Ogungbe said in a statement signed by his media Company, Media Image Managers, MIM.
 
Over 20 artistes and comedians have been confirmed for the show which is unarguably going to be the biggest during the Easter celebrations. Picked across all genres of music to cater for varying tastes, they are: Adewale Ayuba, Eedris Abdulkareem, KSB, PSquare, MI, Ice Prince, Jaywon, Brymo, Davido, Wizkid, Banky W, Goldie, Sauce Kid, Necto C, W4, ElDee D-Don, Chuddy K, Terry G, Sound sultan, Sasha P, Essence, Tiwa Savage, Flavour, Jahbless, Reminisce, Minjin, Joel, Capital FEMI, Durella, YQ, Konga,Vector, Olamide, Skales, Oristefemi, Weird MC, Sledge, Jukebox, Sd Awango and Adepyper.
  
Others are; DJ Zeez, Jybho, Danny Young, JJC&All stars,Young Six, Baba Dee, Tha' Suspect, Ilblis, Nomoreloss, Azadus, X-Project, Style-Plus, Ego, Sleezy E, Eva,Rayce and Morachi.
 
Comedians Gbenga Adeyinka D 1st, Basket Mouth, D-Don, Julius D Genius Agwu, Igos and Jedi will ensure the crowd laugh their hearts out while Osi, Shyne Begho and Ali Baba are hosts and Chief Host respectively. "Without sounding immodest, the Royal Kennis Music Easter Festival is the biggest show in Nigeria because its been a long while that stars from all genres of music will perform in a concert and we are talking about four days of non stop music and comedy. Yearly, we try to surpass our performance of the previous edition and this we have been doing for 14 years now," Kenny Ogungbe said.
