Nicki Minaj broke two records this week with the highest ranking female rap song on Billboard charts in ten years and as the first female to make Forbes' Hip Hop Cash Kings list.
Billboard announced that Minaj's single "Super Bass", which sits at number three on the Hot 100 charts. The last female rapper to accomplish the feat was Missy Elliot, who reached number two with her "Work It" single in 2002.
Minaj's single is only the eighth in rap history to grace the Billboard Top 100 charts.

Other than Minaj, only four female rappers have broken the top 10 ranking in Billboard's Top 100 charts. Lauryn Hill, Da Brat, M.I.A. and Lil Mama were the only females to do so, according to MTV.
