The nominees party for the Nollywood Movies Awards, which is being
organised by the UK cable channel, Nollywood Movies, was held last
Saturday (May 5, 2012). The event was held at the Lagos Oriental Hotel
and it was attended by actors and film-makers from Nigeria and the UK.
Some of those present at the party were Ini Edo,
Emem Isong, Kunle Afolayan, Charles Okafor, Monalisa Chinda, Omoni
Oboli, Obi Emenloye, and Anthony Monjaro. Also present at the party were
two directors of Nollywood Movies – Dipo Winsala, and Alfred Soroh.
Music was provided by UK-based DJ, DJ Abass. The main award ceremony
comes up at Civic Centre (Lagos), on June 2.
