Murder of 4 UNIPORT Students: The True Story Behind Their Death

The brutal murder of the Four students of the University of Port Harcourt has become a major source of worry to many Nigerians who feel that human lives have no value as far as the country is concerned.

Since the incident, many people have advocated for the immediate arrest of those behind the heinous act and possibly charge them if found guilty. While some have continued to advocate for death sentence, others advocate for life imprisonment.

However, investigation reveals that none of the four murdered students was involved in robbery or any kind of pilfering.  An anonymous colleague of the late Llyod and Ugo whom he said were aspiring musicians and his colleagues.
It was gathered from the source that Ugo and Lloyd were cousins. Someone was indebted to Ugo around the community and had vowed not to pay. Ugo who was popularly known as Tipsy had gone to meet with a fearless University guy (name-withheld) to help them track the debtor who had been on the run. The guy who was feared by many in the school had accepted to accompany his friends to get the debtor tracked down and get his own percentage of the money. They were joined by their room mate, Chidiaka. On their way to the place, they met one of their friends, Tekena, who knew nothing about the plan, and he joined, just for the hype as it’s normal with young boys of juvenile age.

They were actually 5 that got to the debtor’s compound. Unknown to the other four, the “Confra” guy who was contracted to intimidate the debtor just to get the money paid went with a gun .When they got to the guy’s house around 12am, fight ensued, as the debtor confronted them. A next door neighbour, a woman started shouting on top of her voice, that they were thieves, attracting other bad boys around the areas, whom they said were mainly “vickins”, rival cult group of the one on contract. They swung into action by tipping the vigilantee who confronted the boys, referring to them as thieves.
At the process of beating the boys, and while they were trying to explain, the fifth ‘guy’,the cultist brought out his gun to scare the people, and he escaped, leaving the rest four at the mercy of the villagers.

The explanation they tried to give fell on the community’s deaf ears as the people insisted that they must be killed. Another close friend of Ugo and Lloyd had reacted by calling on the president to take action against those behind the murder of the four students. The young man who had pleaded that his identity be kept secret said: “Mr President those 4 boys who were killed at Aluu near Uniport were my young friends. I was their mentor. Two of them were promising rappers and singers. I am forwarding their work ironically titled “ain’t no love in the city”

This a product of many vices. Our Country leaders are begining to see the dividence of poor leadership leading to the menace of unemploymnet which has hardened the heart of the the jobless youth.
Elections come and politicians use these youths for violence and expect that they will not learn from the violent process...imposicant; if there is any word like that.
Lack of value for human life is an essential part of ridicules for God who made us in his own image.Let God have mercy on us all.
In my own opinion, we need revisit the basics and appreciate human life as it were. These young boys died as Heroes I feel they deserve a monument(imortalizing in ALUU to remind generations yet unborn of the evils their fathers melted out.RIP
Before I rest my case, this evil act was melted out for not less than 6hrs. Info has it that the school management who admitted the students on provisional admision basis denied them rescue at the most crucial stage of life by saying they weren't even sure if they were their student or not...They couldn't provide for them.

I see no changes, all I see is racist faces,Misplaced hate makes disgrace to races We are under, I wonder what it takes to make this One better place, let's erase the wasted.Take the evil out the people they'll be acting right And only time we chill is when we kill each other. It takes skill to be real, its time to heal each other

And although it seems heaven sent We are not ready, to receive Jesus. Its not a secret don't conceal the fact.
And still I see no changes, can't a brother get a little peace? There's war in the streets and war in the Middle East Instead of war on poverty
They get jealous when they see you, with your mobile phone and the police will start bothering you
We need to make a change because It's time for us as a people to start making some changes.Let's change the way we eat, let's change the way we live And let's change the way we treat each other.
You see, the old way wasn't working so it's on us to do What we gotta do, to survive.
We need to make Nigeria a better place for you and me.

That ALUU community should be totally wiped out including their community head. It's barbaric. In a civilized country like ours, should such a heartless thing like this happen and the perpetrators go unpunished? May God forgive them!

I hate nigeria. These boys were people's brothers, sons and friends. It bothers me that all their pleas for mercy even @ the point of helplessness were ignored by boys/guys/men/women/mothers/fathers...it's disheartening. Don't they have brothers too? Don't they have sons? I'm so sadddd! If I had my way, all the indigenes would be dead by now in more brutal ways than what they metted out on those 4 brothers of mine, ours. And let it be known, Aluu as a community shall never know peace, they shall never see good and EVIL shall be their companion all the days of their lives...! From the inhabitants of the community to the generations yet unborn till the end of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am deeply saddened and I conjure all the angels of God and the spirits threading this world to heed this curse...!!!!!!!! From Chuka, Abuja.

The whole stories are confusing and 12am is really not the right time to visit a debtor. They are student and are should know when its right to draw a debt or better still go to the police for assistance.
