The Central association of Nigerians in United Kingdom (CANUK) hosted a dinner on the 8th of July 2012 to welcome the Nigerian athletes competing at the London Olympics. The glitzy affair was to encourage the athletes to perform well at the international competition making them feel at home in what is called "Nigerians Second home". It was attended by government officials, sports personalities and celebrities. UK based entertainers like DRB Lasgidi and Big Tizzy made sure the night wasn't without music performances too.
