Katie Holmes to have Shown Gains of Freedom

To Katie Holmes freedom means having a fashion show during New York Fashion Week in September. The newly separated actress announced that she plans to stage her first ever presentation for her fashion line 'Holmes & Yang' that she launched in 2009 with design partner Janice Yang. The collection consists of wearable day-to-night pieces with an emphasis on craftsmanship and aspires to appeal to everyone from "rock stars to heads of state". In 2006, the same year Holmes married Tom Cruise, she teamed up with Victoria Beckham to produce a couture collection but since then has remained relatively low key on the fashion scene.
