How P Square's Mum Mrs Josephine Okoye Died Hours After Surgery

The mother of Tony, Jude, Paul and Peter Okoye of P-Square, Mrs. Josephine Okoye died five hours after a heart surgery in an Indian hospital in Kolkota at about 11pm (3am Indian time) on Wednesday July 12, 2012.

The deceased, who was a devoted christian and church minister in Jos, Plateau State, died after a protracted battle with an undisclosed heart illness.

Mrs Okoye who had been ill for some time was admitted at St Nicholas hospital in Lagos and

later she was later flown to India when her condition deteriorated.

Friends and colleagues have been visiting the house in Omole Phase 1 to commiserate with the Okoye family.

She is survived by her husband, children and grand-children, including Cameron, Peter’s son.
