This grandson of late sakara music legend ALHAJI LEFTY SALAMI BALOGUN, started rapping in
1994, with a group called D-L-B which comprises his brothers Dapo Balogun a.k.a
DJ METHALIC and Bayo Balogun a. k. a BRASSBELL under the name Larry O-Jay.
In 1998 Dapo and Bayo travel back to Canada so he started a group
called DA MIGHTY KIDZ which was made up of him, K-FLOW(IBRAHIM SALAWE
now C.E.O SATTY RECORDS),Soburino and Clef. The group recorded some songs,
gain some airplay, performed at the French cultural centre, Falomo,
Lagos, campus shows etc but broke-up in 2000 when K-Flow travelled
to London hence everyone went on to pursue their solo career
Bent on being a music star, he join a group of 12 rappers called X-CHRONICS to record a mix tape album, released 2 singles on radio and received heavy rotation on some radio stations.
However in 2001, the multi talented act decided to go into music production and studio engineering and as fate would have it, he met Big Lo on the internet; he started production at his studio
-he went on to produce for artistes like 2Shotz on the Alaba boy
multi platinum song/album WHICH LEVEL, brought back to the limelight the multi talented
TV Presenter/dancehall act SPY-DA-MAN with the song dancehall. He also produced rap icon Ruggedman’s "EMI NI" ft DAGRIN and Durella ,Wande Coal, Dr S.I.D of Mohits, Timi of the defunct Da trybes, Xklusive, Shanko Rasheed, Reminsce, Lexzy Doo and others have enjoyed his creative work.
He featured in multi selling album and songs of Koffi “Aroma pt. 2 ”, Lexzy Doo “Ike ni mu
remix ” and many more wand also cameo appearances on Plus One ‘My Belle’, Jah Bless ‘Joor Remix’.
He has performed at numerous shows including Rhythm Unplugged 2006, Calabar Carnival 2008.
Also He was an independent radio show Producer on GLOBAL COUNTDOWN, X GEE RELOADED, and POWER JAMZ which was aired and syndicated on major radio stations in Nigeria.
In 2007, he formed his record label TUAILE RECORDS which was responsible for promoting his first album 3PLE TUAILE - The 16-track album sold 30,000 copies.
Recently in 2011, he formed ‘Goodmorning Entertainment’ a management Company that will support his record label in terms of marketing.
Kash believes “Hope is the most dangerous thing to lose; especially after so many ups and downs he says circumstances are not his master.
After 3years of working underground on his new album –THE RETURN OF KUKUTE, like a hungry lion he is set to take his place to rule amongst the finest in an industry where new talents are springing up every minute.
So far 2 official smash hit singles have been released off the new album; WANKELE and the contagious LIVE WIRE which was assisted by a colourful, well interpreted video directed by Folorunsho Nexthought.
As part of Promo for the yet-to-be-released album, he has gone on a LIVE WIRE TAKE OVER tour to Ilorin, Oshogbo, Akungba, Uyo and Lagos.
THE RETURN OF KUKUTE featured some of Nigeria’s finest- 9ice, Ruggedman, Lord of Ajasa, Olamide, Klever J, GT the Guitarman and others.
