It's indeed brighter days for African established and
emerging fashion designers, manufacturers and fashion retailers. Apart from
this exciting opportunity to hit the international stage in style and
pageantry, African designers will also be featured on the runway of the Miami
Fashion Week for the first time ever in the fourteen year history of the Fashion
Week.
And that is not the only novelty because for the first time
in Nigeria, W-Art & Design has also announced a Fashion Business Seminar
with the internationally acclaimed Mercedes Gonzalez (CEO of the New York based
Global Purchasing Group, a fashion buying office representing over 200 stores
in North and South America) and Professor Uche Ofodile, Professor, University
of Arkansas School of Law, USA).
Designers should take advantage of these opportunities to
grow their knowledge and broaden their horizons.
Details on these opportunities can
be found at www.miamifashionweekafrica.com or follow @MFWAfrica for
