Abisona Independence Poetry Competition

Abisona Independence Poetry Competition is to celebrate the country’s 52 years of independence, abisona.com introduces the abisona Independence Poetry Competition. 

The competition is aimed at celebrating Nigeria through the art poetry with the theme; NIGERIA 52: PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE. 

Winners (3) will get signed copies of books; attend the One Mic Naija October Edition, and other additional prizes. Deadline for submission has been extended to the 14th of October 2012. SUBMISSION

 Poems should be no more than 52 lines (could be less) All entries should be sent to abisonapoetry@yahoo.com or abisonapoetry@gmail.com ·       

 Include your full name, email address and telephone number at the footer of the poem. Only one poem is allowed per person; no Simultaneous submissions. Pick your best one and send it to us. All submissions must be original and unpublished. Selected poems will be published on abisona.com every week in October.
