Fans were highly elated when South African diva,
Yvonne Chaka Chaka stormed the listening party of "
Jankulu Fever", the debut album of A-Jay Odeh (not to be confuse with A'jay of Da Natives), a close cousin of 2face Idibia.Immediately the presence of Chaka Chaka was announced, a happy cheer and applause rented the air as the fans in their hundreds who had come for the party held at Movida, a night club in Victoria Island, could hardly believe that the highly acclaimed legend was actually there live.The Princess of Africa (Chaka Chaka's title) who came in company of about four of her friends and then exchange pleasantries with some of the top guests atthe event including Nigerian music super star 2face.
Though Yvonne didn't stay at the event for more than an hour, it was nolstagiagalore as the fans memories were refreshed with some of her evergreen hits like"thank you Mister DJ", and the ever-popular "
Umqombothi"("African Beer").Signed unto 2face Hypertek
entertainment record label, A-Jay is a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Uyo. His album, Jankulu Fever which stormed the market recently boasts of potential hit songs like, "Live As One", "Life",
"Jankulu Anthem", "
HypertekAnthem", and
"Ihotukum", a song rendered in English with a bit of Edoma language.
