JADEN SMITH RUMOURED TO BE DEAD.

According to yet another gross prank, Actor Jaden Smith is reported to have died shortly after a snowboard accident earlier today” in Zermatt, Switzerland. But Smith is NOT dead. He’s alive and well. The sick rumor is “absolutely not true.”

Smith is currently in Europe, performing with JUSTIN BEIBER . These frequent, totally bogus stories about Smith and dozens of other celebrities “dying” are not funny. This one – about a child – is particularly disgusting.
at a total loss as to why anyone would concoct phony fatalities, and sincerely hopes the only thing that dies out are these horrible hoaxes.

He is currently in  St Nicholas Hospital " I was shocked when I got the news. Someone else contacted m,e to confirm the news and i was still in shock and Gt da Guitarman later broke the news of his death and it was confirmed from his close friend TeeGee.

He was on his way back home from an event he was the MC at Industry Nite,Tribeca and it was dedicated to Questionmark act Harrysong who is promoting his new album. CD John was driving back to the mainland, heading to his home when the accident happened and it claimed his life . He was in the car with his girlfriend and two other people and they are still receiving treatment at St Nicholas Hospital.

The late comedian  John Chijioke aka CD JOHN, was a gifted singer and funny comedian . Firstborn,  a close friend of CD JOHN shared that 'he use to sing before he tried his luck on Comedy and since then he has been doing what he loved".

ELDEE DISSOCIATE SELF FROM D'BANJ.

Integrity requires three steps: discerning what is right and what is wrong; acting on what you have discerned, even at personal cost; and saying openly that you are acting on your understanding of right from wrong." – Stephen L Carter

Months ago, before the 2011 voter registration exercise began in Nigeria some of us were very excited as we saw this as an opportunity to effect the much-needed change in our country. I geared up and began non-partisan campaigns aimed at youths in Nigeria to ensure that they register, vote, and protect their votes. I spent at least four to six hours everyday campaigning on social network platforms, TV/Radio, and print media. My team and I did everything we could from explaining the process, to following people on twitter who posted pictures of their registration cards, to giving away cellphone airtime and even went as far as helping local INEC officials with some of the technical difficulties they faced at the commencement of the registration exercise. We are currently working on an incidence reporting initiative to help curb election malpractices. What's in it for me you might ask...like I tell everyone who has asked me, some of us just really believe in a better Nigeria. If I have the resources to make change, I wont hesitate to put it towards just that. I am Nigerian, I have a daughter who is Nigerian and I would love to see my daughter raised in this country. I am a true patriot and I have consistently promoted the idea that the Nigerian situation can and should improve with the right leadership.

2FACE AND NAFDAC TACKLE THE MENACE OF FAKE and SUB-STANDARD PRODUCTS.

2face Idibia, Dr. Paul Orhii (DG, NAFDAC), Rita Echeozo (CEO, Promotie Entertainment)
Africa’s finest 2Face Idibia in partnership with the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) continues to take giant strides in the sustained battle against the menace of fake and sub-standard food and drug products in Nigeria. To this end, he recently recorded a theme song for FASPAC (Fake And Sub-standard Products Awareness Campaign) project being spearheaded by Hypertek/ Now Muzik in collaboration with Promotie

with the support of NAFDAC. The single, "Man Unkind", produced by award-winning beatmaker J. Sleek, and the accompanying video directed by Emma Gecko for Buckwyld Media Network, were  revealed to a select cross-section of the press at a media launch in Lagos on Tuesday, 22nd March, 2011.

2Face has been known to be a socially responsible cultural icon who has the ears of millions of Nigerians from diverse demographical divides at home and abroad. As a result, and in a move to reach the populace from the top to the grassroots, the agency, under the dynamic leadership of its indefatigable DG, Dr. Paul Orhii, the artiste was appointed a NAFDAC ambassador in 2009. Since then, 2Face's star power has been deployed in many public enlightenment activities organized by the agency to maximum effect.

ELIZABETH TAYLOR FINAL TWEET.

Only six weeks ago, Liz was healthy enough to answer such hard-hitting interview questions as, "What has been your greatest jewelry adventure?" R.I.P ELIZABETH .

Elizabeth Taylor receives touching obituary from someone dead longer than Elizabeth Taylor.

Longtime New York Times theater critic Mel Gussow penned the lovely obituray to the late Elizabeth Taylor that appeared in today's edition of the Times. Unfortunately no one can tell him that, because Gussow himself passed away  six years ago. We're not sure what's sadder, that the newspaper planned so far ahead for her death, or that no one else on staff felt knowledgeable enough to write about her. Of course, we naturally assume the author of Gussow's obit has been dead since 1999.

EVENT: RAM CHARGING PICTURES

Ram Charging as a sport in Nigeria, bothers on the unusual. But when compared with Bull-fights in Argentina and Spain as well as Cock fights in Mexico and certain parts of America, it bears a semblance of normalcy.

It is devoid of the blood, gore and animal cruelty prevalent in its sister sports around the world (Only 1 on-field casualty has been witnessed in over a decade of the sport). It is recognized by the Lagos State Government under it's Traditional Sports Council - a Division of the State's Sports Council. As an organised body under the Ram Lovers' Association of Nigeria, it has been organising Ram Charging Championships for the past 13 years

Highlights of this year's contest include Goodnews which is the defending champion; and Gobé - a strong contender for this year's title in the A-category. The prized-Ram, nicknamed The Unbeatable has won in every category it has participated in, hitherto (i.e. From F to B). Gobé is touted to be worth over N1.2m as at the last offer for his purchase, which his proud owner refused. Other favorites of this year's competition include: Ten-ten and Ileke both from Itire-Ijesha area of Lagos, Coded from Lagos Island as well as Kubamson - Oyo State Champion who has lifted the title twice in a row.

HIP HOP STAR WYCLEF JEAN WAS SHOT

Hip-hop star Wyclef Jean was recovering last night after being shot on the Haitian election trail.
The former Fugees star was treated for a gunshot wound on his right hand after an attack near the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince.

He was in an armoured car with hip-hop friends Busta Rhymes and Jimmy Rosemond when a gunman opened fire.

Wyclef, 41, had intended to run for president himself but authorities ruled him ineligible last August.
He is supporting fellow musician Michel Martelly, who was up against former first lady Mirlande Manigat in yesterday's presidential election.

Wyclef's brother, Samuel, confirmed he was shot but had no further details. He tweeted: "We have spoken to Wyclef, he is OK. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers."

Wyclef's spokeswoman added: "He is doing well." Yesterday's runoff vote is viewed as a key step toward rebuilding Haiti, following the January 2010 earthquake that killed 200,000 people.

ARISE MAGAZINE FASHION WEEK PICTURES.

The event was held on the 10th March to the 13th, Sunday March '11. It lived up to expectations and even surpassed mine. Arise Magazine Fashion Week was organized to meet international standards and I was initially surprised and pleasantly shocked by what unfolded before me. It was full of glamour and glitz for the four days it held. The clothes were fantastic and the people too, friendly and approachable.

Here are some of the pictures at the event.
